Kelly DePonte is the Managing Director of the firm. He has 12 years of experience in commercial and investment banking and 31 years of experience in private market investing through third-party closed-end funds, funds-of-funds and co-investments. He was most recently Managing Director and Head of Research at Probitas Partners, a global private market placement agent. He joined Probitas from Pacific Corporate Group (PCG), a private equity consultant, where he performed due diligences globally for such clients as CalPERS, the Oregon State Treasury, the State of Rhode Island, and several of the pensions of the City of New York. He also served on the investment committee of three funds-of-funds managed by PCG. He began his private equity investment career while at First Interstate Bancorp in 1993, overseeing a portfolio of venture capital and buyout funds.

Kelly is currently a Senior Advisor at Probitas (www.probitaspartners.com) and is an Advisor with Hanover Square Capital (UK) Ltd Hanover Square Capital (hansq.com), a financial services firm based in London with a sister office in Singapore. He is also on the Advisory Board of the Investment Management Due Diligence Association (Dashboard - IMDDA Membership Site) and is a frequent speaker at private market conferences and webinars.

Kelly is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bennington Museum (Bennington Museum | Grandma Moses | Vermont History and Art), serving on its Investment and Finance Committees, and its Education & Community Outreach Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association – East Coast Region. Kelly is on the roster of approved FINRA non-public arbitrators, and for 26 years has held a Series Seven - General Securities Registered Representative License.

Kelly graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and received a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management.
